As someone who lives on the opposite side of the city, Airbnb's Perfect Pasta was truly a great experience for me to learn about food, local farming, cooking, and entrepreneurship. What made this a great experience was our host, Dario, a passionate person who turned his career around to pursue his dream. After hearing his story, it inspired me to chase mine even further, but it also taught me a very valuable lesson to support local for a better lifestyle.

I took this trip courtesy of Airbnb, and I was very impressed and inspired. I got to learn about creating the perfect pasta with Dario — a bioscientist who turned his career around and went on to pursue his passion in food. While he took us around to his favorite producers at the farmer’s market, he educated us about food and the people behind it. We sampled organic vegetables, munched on awesome food, sipped coffee and also watched a cooking demo. From there and across The Bay to his kitchen, Baia Pasta, he shared his story behind his business to the process of creating the perfect pasta. Dario spoke it in passion and I admire his dedication especially the drive that makes him do what he loves. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, I would definitely recommend this experience if you’re visiting San Francisco. You’ll learn a lot and you will feel heavily inspired by end of the day.
