When you can't sleep at night, go out and explore.
The night I explored Akihabara made me experience Japan in another way that I could not experience at home. If I pictured myself wandering in a city in the states alone, I know that I would put my life at risk. Unlike the streets back home, my experience in Japan opened up my mind. I wandered in dark streets and alleys without feeling in danger. I was afraid at first and questioned myself if it was the right thing to do. I wanted to break the habit of feeling that way and I wanted to take a risk. And I did. I walked for hours and went on a shooting spree. Thank you Japan.
This is not crazy talk, but you get to learn something that will make you grow especially when you travel. Lastly, when you hear people say Japan is one of the safest countries in the world, it's true.
